Himokselle.net Customer Register
The purpose of this register is to store traveller information, enable contact required for customer service, and maintain the customer relationship.
Customer data may be used for electronic targeted marketing if the customer has given consent to this. In addition, the register is collected to enable online commerce via the website, such as transmitting order information, billing information, payment confirmation information, or processing information between the merchant and the customer.
Data may be disclosed within the limits required by current legislation. Data is not transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
Only the data controller and the employees of companies acting on its behalf and for its account have access to the complete register data. The databases related to the register are protected by firewalls, passwords, and other technical means generally accepted in the information security industry.
Data is processed confidentially, and its collection serves the purpose of communication essential to customer service between the system and the person using the service.
Under Section 26 of the Finnish Personal Data Act, the data subject has the right to inspect what information about them has been stored in the personal register. A request for inspection must be made in writing, with a personally signed letter, or in person at the data controller’s premises.
